How To Make Banana Oatmeal Cookies
These banana oatmeal cookies are deliciously chewy and are the perfect healthy snack to give to the kids.

Ingredients
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- ¾ tsp cinnamon
- ¾ cup shortening
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup bananas, mashed
- ¾ cup oatmeal
- ½ cup nuts, chopped
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Sift flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and spices into bowl.
- Add shortening.
- Mix and add eggs, bananas, oatmeal and nuts.
- Beat well.
- Drop by teaspoons on slightly greased cookie sheet.
- Bake in oven for about 15 minutes.

Remove from cookie sheets immediately and cool before serving.
