Banana Bread Sticks Recipe

The finger-food style of these sweet but healthy bread “sticks” makes them kid-friendly.

This banana bread sticks recipe is perfect if you want an on-the-go finger food.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup banana, mashed
  • cup all-purpose flour, (white, whole wheat, or combined)
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix until they form a smooth consistency. Then pour them into a greased loaf pan.
  3. Place the loaf pan in the oven and bake the batter for about 1 hour or until it is firmly set. 
  4. Once you're done baking, remove the bread from the pan and cut it into sticks. 
  5. Spread the sticks out on a cookie sheet and bake them at 150 degrees F for 1 hour or until the sticks become hard and crunchy.
  6. Store the sticks in a tightly covered container, and enjoy them anytime you want.
