How To Make Italian Easter Knot Cookies
Ingredients
- 5 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 4 eggs
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
Glaze
- 2 cup confectioner's sugar, sifted
- 1/4 cup cream
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar and baking powder.

Mix with a wooden spoon and make a well in the center.

In a small bowl, beat eggs just enough to combine. Stir in milk and vanilla.

Pour wet ingredients into the well made in the dry ingredients.
- Beat with a wooden spoon until a soft dough forms.
- Cover with a kitchen towel and let rest 15 minutes.
- Divide dough into 5 pieces.
